The Natal Falconry Club (NFC) is more than just a club; it’s a community that extends beyond the sport of falconry. Members have shared in each other’s joys and sorrows, from weddings and baby showers to lost birds. Many of the members are lifelong falconers and have flown some great birds.

The club is proud of its ongoing rehabilitation work through Raptor Rescue, its public education efforts on raptor conservation and falconry through Falcon Ridge. The club also hosts annual events like the Duck Meet and the end-of-year meet, Quail Madness.

The NFC’s journey has seen stormy seasons and amazing ones, but through it all, the club has remained steadfast, thanks to the regular faces that have guided those coming through the ranks.

If you’re willing to put in the effort, then a bird is definitely for you.
